History

WMI (Well-com' Multimedia & Internet), musical web pioneer since 1996 (first RealVideo webcaster in France), has joined the MPO group in order to develop the WMI subsidiary.

WMI achievements include the development of Musique-pro, a French-speaking website dedicated to new talents and Maedis.com, a B to B CD fulfilment service (notably for Wanadoo).

The creation of WMI in April 2001 constitutes the start of a new era combining industrial experience with the multiple opportunities offered by new technologies.

In 2006, after the Thorel Brothers bought their shares back, MPO Online got back its original name: WMI.
